UKSC and JCPC publishes new Business Plan for 2026-2029
The UKSC and JCPC has published its new Business Plan for the period of 2026-2029.

The UK Supreme Court and Judicial Committee of the Privy Council has published its new Business Plan, covering the period 2026-2029. Building on the progress made over the last five years and continuing its ambition to be a world leading Court, the Court’s vision, strategic priorities and values have been updated in this business plan which can be read in full here.
The Court’s vision to uphold the rule of law with independence, integrity and impartiality, and to serve the public transparently and accessibly will shape the Court’s work and priorities. The Court’s purpose and role remain the same. We are a world leading Court, delivering the highest quality judgments, known for our transparency and accessibility, and a user centred approach. Our new vision and priorities will enable us to deliver efficiently and with maximum impact for Justices, Court users and the public.
The Business Plan also sets out how this will be achieved, through the Court’s three strategic priorities:
Providing a world class service
Serving the public
Engaging outwards
Speaking at the publication of the plan, the Court’s Chief Executive Vicky Fox said:
“The Court plays an important role in the UK and internationally, deciding appeals of great significance. The Court administration supports the Justices and this business plan sets out our key areas of work, the enablers for success and our values. We will continue to put Justices, Court users and the public at the heart of the way we work, providing an inclusive, modern and excellent service for everyone. I hope that this Business Plan will encourage you to find out more about the Court’s work and to visit us in person in the heart of Westminster.”
